Skill Builder Classes
Gotham Firearms Training provides a great way to build your skills with handguns without breaking the bank: bi-monthly Classroom/live fire skill builders! Each 4 hour session will focus on a small group of hand gun skills taught by a Gotham Firearms Instructor. Each skill builder is focused on a specific defensive/tactical/accuracy skill set. Skill Builders will be taught on the range using dry and live fire practice.
1 – Drawing From Holster
- 4 Hours Intermediate–Advanced
- 4 Step technique to build a solid draw stroke, drawing from support hand.
2 – Foundational Work
- 4 Hours Intermediate–Advanced
- Trigger Isolation, Grip Control, Vision, Administrative Workspace, Ready Positions
3 – Movement
- 4 Hours Intermediate–Advanced
- Shooting on the move, Shooting around Obstacles, Alternate shooting Positions, Fighting to your feet, Support Hand Shooting
4 – Positional Work
- Shooting from Cover, Multiple Shooting Positions, Multiple Target Engagement, Failure to stop drill and malfunction clearance
